Checklist for Child Abuse Evaluation (CCAE) Introductory Kit

This valuable information-gathering tool is used for investigating and evaluating children and adolescents who may have been abused or neglected (ages 10-16 years).  You may obtain extensive data for preparing clinical reports or standard documents in the clinical file. The Checklist is transferable to all pertinent professionals to eliminate repetitive stressful questioning of the child. Using the Checklist will also enhance the possibility of providing legally sound conclusions.

Parenting Stress Index: Short Form (PSI-SF) Hand-Scorable Questionnaire/Profile Forms (pkg/25)

The PSI Short Form (PSI/SF) is a direct derivative of the Parenting Stress Index (PSI) full-length test. All 36 items on the Short Form are contained on the Long Form with identical wording and are written at a 5th-grade reading level, for parents of children 12 years and younger. The PSI/SF yields a Total Stress score from three scales: parental distress, parent-child dysfunctional interaction, and difficult child.

The PSI/SF was developed at the request of clinicians and researchers who regularly use the full-length PSI and indicated the need for a valid measure administered in less than 10 minutes. It is ideal for clinicians who work in a variety of primary health care settings and have a limited time available to patients, targeting those families most in need of follow-up services. It also is valuable for use in schools and mental health clinics where the parent-child dyad is not the primary focus of the assessment.
